Sculpt the Bod You Deserve
Pilates is all about stretching, lengthening and toning muscles. We do not focus heavily on strength training. However, as a studio, we have decided to merge Pilates with light hand weights to add that extra kick to jump start the full body sculpt.
This class slightly resembles a Barre class in the aspect that light weights are used at higher repetitions to intensify the burn! Since Pilates reformers already have apparatuses that incorporate resistance, the weights supplement the already successful mechanism Joseph Pilates created.
